Our specialized range of Alloy 825 nuts is engineered to provide secure and reliable fastening solutions in highly corrosive environments. Alloy 825 (UNS N08825) is a nickel-iron-chromium-molybdenum alloy with additions of copper and titanium, offering exceptional resistance to both reducing and oxidizing acids, including sulfuric, phosphoric, and nitric acids. It also provides excellent resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. These nuts are manufactured through hot forging and precision machining processes, ensuring consistent thread accuracy, proper bearing surfaces, and metallurgical integrity for critical applications in chemical processing, pollution control equipment, oil & gas extraction, acid production plants, and nuclear fuel reprocessing.
Product Range & Dimensions
We offer a comprehensive range of Alloy 825 nuts designed to meet various international standards and custom engineering requirements:
Common Nut Types:
Hex Nuts: Standard hex nuts for general fastening applications, available in finished and heavy hex patterns.
Heavy Hex Nuts: Larger across-flats dimensions for higher clamping loads and pressure vessel flange connections.
Jam Nuts: Thin profile nuts for locking applications where space is limited.
Coupling Nuts: Long nuts for connecting two threaded rods or extending thread length.
Specialty Nuts: Including slotted nuts, castle nuts, and dome nuts for specific application requirements.
Thread Standards & Size Range:
Threads: Available in Metric (M, MF), Unified (UNC, UNF, 8UN), and Pipe (NPT, NPSM) threads, with Class 2B/6H fit accuracy.
Diameter : Ranging from 1/4″ to 4″ (M6 to M100).
Manufacturing Standards:
All nuts are produced and tested in accordance with ASTM B564 / ASME SB564 (for nickel alloy forgings) and dimensional standards such as ASME B18.2.2 and DIN 934/691.
OEM & Custom Services
We recognize that specialized applications often require specific nut configurations. Our custom services for Alloy 825 nuts ensure optimal performance for your project:
Custom Dimensions:
We can manufacture nuts with non-standard across-flats dimensions, special heights, or unique configurations based on your engineering drawings.
